There’s no soft bed - Paul
I mean, people are people, right? So we can't be surprised when they act like…people.
It's not a surprise that people act in the way that they usually act. It's actually predictable. Most people are going to say no. Most people aren't going to believe. That's why this space can be lucrative.
At the same time, for any one winner, there are a bunch of dead bodies that you never saw the funeral of. Right. We kind of have this survivorship bias. Oh, I see a lot of people making money. That must mean if I enter this industry, I can make money. Well, no, you don't see all the people that lost money.
It just hurts my feelings that if done, it can't be done to the caliber that I want it to be done. That's what disappoints me the most.
It can be done to the caliber you want. It's just are you willing to go through the pain to make that happen? Don't blame the problem.
The question is, do you believe in it so much that you're willing to learn and meet and do what you haven't done yet? Yeah. The challenge with Twitter Spaces is that it is a vocal medium. Right. So how do people interact with their voices? And usually what people do with their voices is that they make excuses.
One of the investors I know, he's coming out with a book called no More Excuses. Actually. Yeah. Don't fall into the trap that most people on TwitterSpaces fall into. Talking about your solution isn't building a company, it's just talking about a solution.
I guess you are right. There needs to be more data collection that needs to happen first so I can see some challenges now. It's a pleasure being here.
If it was easy, it would have been done already. Let's look at it that way.
How I did it:
Record a TwitterSpace Episode.
Get the recording (I used www.flowjin.com)
Transcribe with AssemblyAI
Find something interesting…assuming there was something interesting, of course.
Use this code YOURSELF. If you have a gmail account you can code online in python and get AI to work without downloading anything.
