The Modern Reformation
When the nerds talk about politics, they compare The United States to The Roman Empire. It’s an easy comparison - after all, we modeled our democracy after their’s.
However, there’s a time in history that is perhaps more illustrative of what we’re about to experience.
What we’re about to experience is The Modern Reformation.
The Reformation occurred in 16th century Germany, when Martin Luther translated The Bible into a language that the everyday person could understand. When the everyday person read The Bible for themselves, they found that what they were being taught wasn’t the totality of The Bible. They realized that someone was purposefully leaving key lessons out of the teachings.
Today, we are experiencing The Modern Reformation. Everyday people are now reading the original translations, and realizing that they weren’t told the entire story.
