How To Cheat On A University Exam
It's not that hard if you've got $20 to spare.
I cheated on my Management Accounting exam.
I blazed through the exam in about 7 minutes and then had to spend the rest of the 90 minutes pretending the exam was hard so it wouldn’t be obvious.
To be fair, we were all cheating. Ain’t nobody wanna waste their time learning peanut butter costing, feel me.
The way we cheated was very simple: the Sri Lankans were selling 20 past exams for $20. $20 was a lot cheaper than studying. The professor didn’t have time to make more than 150 questions. Luckily, memorization is a survival tactic every student learns quickly. To this day I still remember that the answer to a question involving peanut butter costing is (c). Why? Because it’s C, that’s why.
All in all, it took about 7 hours to memorize the answer to 150 questions. I blazed through the exam in about 15 minutes and then had to spend the next 90 minutes pretending to do things so it wouldn’t be obvious. I would’ve been faster but it’s hard filling out scantron sheets.
Later in life, I would realize that management consulting companies would often do the same thing; pretend a project was difficult and spread the project over months if not years. Turns out it’s not cheating if you have really great marketing (and enough lawyers).
