The trees in a forest are in a symbiotic relationship with the mycelium/mycorrhizal fungus network that lies beneath the soil.
In this symbiotic relationship, water, nitrogen, carbon and other materials are exchanged between the Trees and the mycelium network like tokens in a distributed systems. Large trees, known as mother trees, help to proliferate this symbiotic exchange of elemental tokens.
These mother trees are the oligarchy of the forest.
So, how might a human network grow like a mycelium network?
Simple; exchange elemental tokens that promote survival for trees, especially mother trees.
