In a world where your product, service, and brand are the same as everyone else’s, it’s only your sales process that differentiates you.

Just Give Me The Main Points
Elon Musk’s layoff of thousands of Twitter employees did not lead to a massive outage.
AI has the potential to both create and eradicate jobs.
We cannot predict the future of AI and job opportunities.
We must prepare ourselves to take advantage of the future of AI.
The future is to be achieved.
Uh Oh
When Elon Musk took over Twitter, he promptly laid of tens of thousands of people. When that happened, many people catastrophized that Twitter would stop working. They figured that since so many Engineers were laid off that Twitter was inevitably going to experience a massive outage.
To their surprise, Twitter kept working. Today, it’s still working. I imagine it’s going to keep working tomorrow…and that has a lot of people worried.
After all, how is it possible that the technology is still working even though the Engineers were fired? Don’t we need people to manage the computers?
Many people point to the advent of AI for the reason that companies can afford to lay off workers without a massive decrease in customer service.
Let’s face the elephant in the room: AI has the potential to eradicate many jobs. AI also has the potential to create new jobs. Will AI create more jobs than it destroys? The truth is…there’s no way to know. If AI eradicates all jobs, than we have bigger problems than any blog post is going to be able to solve. If AI creates job opportunities…well, what does that mean for us?
If AI creates job opportunities, then we’d do well to prepare ourselves to take advantage of that future. At the end of the day, we only have one option: to cross the river while feeling the stones.
The future is not to be predicted. The future is to be achieved.
